02.10.2024 - Go-Live UMAS Daimler Truck (DT) effective October 17, 2024
More Information
Users who access both Daimler Truck and Mercedes-Benz systems, or exclusively Daimler Truck systems, have received an email from projectumasandcrisp@mailings.daimlertruck.com regarding the next steps for the migration to all-new UMAS DT. The email outlines the actions required on your part as a user. Please check your inbox and follow the provided instructions.
Below is a brief summary of the key points:
On October 17, 2024, the all-new UMAS DT (User Management After Sales Daimler Truck) application will go live and replace the old UMAS (Mercedes-Benz & Daimler Truck).
Your user profile and roles remain unchanged, account information and master data will be taken over.
Starting October 11, 2024, you will receive an email from umas-support@daimlertruck.com umas-support@daimlertruck.com with your new Daimler Truck user ID and initial password required to access Daimler Truck applications via the DT IAM login.
As of this change to your new Daimler Truck User ID and new password for Daimler Truck applications you will be required to set up additionally a new multi-factor authentication via Microsoft Authenticator or an alternate email-address as the former authentication via PINGID will no longer be possible.
If your current user account has access to both Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Truck applications, you should have already received an email from noreply@mercedes-benz.com last week with your new user ID and initial password for Mercedes-Benz applications. Please ensure that you follow the instructions in that email and reset your password within 11 days of receiving it.
Starting October 17, 2024, the new UMAS DT will be available for all truck-specific use cases.
Starting October 17, 2024, log in to Daimler Truck IAM with your existing user ID. When you log in for the first time (e.g. in UMAS DT), select "Forgot your password? (Define password after migration)" and assign your password. You may choose the same password you used previously.
Starting Q2/2025, the login process for additional Truck After-Sales applications (Daimler Truck Diagnostics, XENTRY Truck etc.) will be gradually transition from MBAG/Alice to Daimler Truck IAM. These applications will adopt the new Daimler Truck login screen from the time of the changeover.
Applications that have not yet switched, are recognizable by the MB login screen. Your new Truck User ID will then also be valid there.
